Staying active at home 

Sport England has compiled some great ideas for staying active in and around your home. The activities span different age groups and life stages (e.g. exercising with children at home). They also include suggestions for people with a physical disability (e.g. the NHS chair workout for people in wheelchairs) that may be suitable for older children .

Keeping children active

at home 

There are lots of ways to assist children and young people with a disability to stay active at home. The best way to start is to choose activities the child  is interested in and adapt them.

Change4Life has some great ideas about accessible activities such as the  "10 minute shake up games"  that can be adapted for children with a disability.

Activity alliance 

The UK activity alliance website has useful tips and resources to support people with a disability to be more active, how we can adapt our activity habits and move more while at home.
