Research conducted in Part One of the PROPOSE confirmed that access to transport to attend structured exercise activities is a significant barrier for many clients.

There are a variety of organisations that provide community transport. However some organisations focus on particular categories of transport - for example transport to medical appointments or transport for NDIS clients or transport for clients with an existing aged care package. In addition, some groups only offer transport within particular local government areas.

A contact list of community transport providers from the NSW Government (Transport NSW) is available here.
